Volkan Eren is an app developer, digital marketer and content creator based in Antalya, Türkiye. Working across all three as an independent professional, Volkan founded HourFloor to give US freelancers a straight answer to a question most tools dodge: how much to charge once taxes and real working hours are counted.

Volkan also runs Media Pixel, a digital marketing agency in Antalya, Türkiye, where he manages Meta and Google Ads campaigns for local businesses.

Role at HourFloor

Volkan designs and writes the calculators and the tax engine behind them, maintains the federal and state tax data, and edits the guides. Volkan is not a certified public accountant (CPA) or an IRS Enrolled Agent, and HourFloor does not give tax advice. That is why every figure on the site is tied to an official source on the methodology page, and why errors are corrected in public on the corrections page.
